A renowned DJ/Producer, Paul Goodyear is "the international DJ". Originally from Australia and having lived in London, Barcelona, Mexico and now San Francisco his playing style is diverse and unique. A master of the journey Paul is comfortable playing marathon sets. He credits his lasting success as a DJ producer and re-mixer to his ability to constantly evolve and move with the times.
Paul has played at many prestigious venues and alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. Examples of venues that Paul has headlined include the Folsom Street Magnitude party (San Francisco), Pines Party (Fire Island New York), Zouk (Singapore), The Forecourt of the Sydney Opera House, The End Up (San Francisco), XXL (London), Gus Presents (San Francisco), Gay Pride (LA, SFO and Madrid), Reflexx (Amsterdam), Arq and Home Nightclubs (Sydney), and the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parties where he has been a resident fixture since 1991 often playing for upward of 20,000 people. Some of the DJs he has played alongside include Peter Rauhofer, DJ Paulo, Hex Hector, DJ Abel, Boy George and K-Klass.
In the studio, Paul has established himself as a chart topping re-mixer and producer. He has appeared in the U.S. Billboard Dance charts on numerous occasions including the No. 1 spot with his mix of Kristine W's version of "The Boss". Other artists that have benefitted from Paul's mastery in the studio include Taylor Dayne, Whitney Houston, Linda Clifford, Boogie Pimps, Toni Braxton, Deborah Cooper, Karen Young and Full Intention. Not only a re-mixer, Paul has written a number of original tracks sometimes alone and sometimes with collaborators such as Tony Moran and Love Tattoo. Examples of Paul's studio work can be found on labels as diverse as Sony BMG, DMC, Universal, Nervous NYC, Star 69, and Pete Tong's Essential Recordings.
No one trick pony, it would seem ridiculous to put Paul Goodyear into a box. Hearing him on the dance floor you will hear a mix of hypnotic tribal, edgy electro and loads of top-notch house with inclusions of his own productions and remixes.
